    Latest Scottish Adventure #1

    Here are some pictures from my latest foray north of the border.

    Hawick Town Hall, a sight well-known to Alex.



    A pedestrian bridge in Hawick.



    Alex, Ann and myself in Jedburgh.



    The ruins of Jedburgh Abbey.



    Looking down the aisle of Jedburgh Abbey.



    The Abbey almost looks complete from this angle.



    But not as complete from this angle.



    Looking up at the tower.



    Looks like some kind of tomb.

    Jedburgh Abbey is a magical place. Your snaps make me want to return for a visit. Here's a photo that shows the scale of those large arches in the crossing of the church:
