Leatherneck Casual
Was off today. Just doing chores around town but wanted to celebrate the USMC birthday wearing my Leatherneck tartan kilt.

13 ounce wool from Strathmore mills, hand sewn by Kathy Lare. Stillwater Kilts black leather nightstalker sporran, Lewis kilt hose.
Comfy. Even wore it to the dentist for a cleaning today. Dentist asked after the tartan "Is that supposed to mean something?" He got real quiet after I told him.
Any other Leatherneck pics from today??

I wore my SWK standard to college today with my bright red Marine Corp shirt and my DIY sporran. Sorry for the picture quality, cell phone cameras aren't great. Got a lot of nice comments. I even had one very cute girl tell me "i don't normally like guys in kilts, but you make it look good." Quite flattering.
