    A leisurely walk

Elaine and myself took a nice leisurely walk the other day. It was one of those rare days when the sun shone for most of it and the rain held off, most of the time.
Here we are en route ...

We passed a smallholding and found this chap sat in the front garden, giving his best mate a cuddle ..

Then there was this mother and daughter out enjoying the sunshine as well ..

Our final destintation, the pub ... there were several guest beers .. I had Ushers Bitter 4.7% As you can see, they had had a downfall not long before we got there .. we missed it thank goodness.

    Thats it folks ...

    Derek,

I always enjoy your walking tours. I do have a question. Just how many great old pubs are within walking distance of your home?

    Cheers
