    Lockhart/Carolina pics

Does anyone have pics of themselves or someone else wearing tartan Lockhart or Carolina? I'd like to see how many of us have them and wear them with pride. I'm pondering whether to get a box-pleater from Matt Newsome, and I'd like to see it in all its glory. Thanks a heap.

Here are a few pics of my Carolina 4 yard Box Pleat by Matt Newsome.

Nice to see another close-by XMarks gent on here.... Marion's not too far up the road! So as to not hijack the thread... I would love a Carolina tartan kilt. Gotta save up for a bit more to order it, but that would be awesome. Born and raised in NC my whole life... I think that qualifies me for one!

I've always wanted to see what the Carolina looked like. I have a Carolina tartan blanket we use in our living room. My wife and I grew up in North Carolina and I have been thinking of getting one. It's a bold looking kilt.

You could not go wrong with a Newsome box-pleat! that said, I'm making plans for an 8 yard tank...

Here are 3 more Carolinas "in the wild." Each was made by the wearer, including Matt (second from right). click through for details

Thanks for the pics. I'll post some of me when my wife comes home and brings the camera with her.

There's a poor pic of the Lockhart tartan kilt here http://www.clanlockhart.org/

There's a pic of the Clan Chief here http://www.clanlockhartsociety.com/ with probably the Lockhart tartan, again, a poor pic.

Often Clan webpages have a gallery with good pics., but it looks like slim pickin's for the Lockhart tartan kilt.

This site has some kilt pics but not sure they are, in fact, Lockhart. http://www.lakegeorgenewyork.org/lockhart.htm

Sorry if you've already Googled....I got curious.

Here's another angle of Matt in his Carolina.

And I don't have a decent photo of me wearing my self-made Carolina, but here is a "table-top" shot of the pleats.

That's a nice looking bit of stitchery.
Now you need some hand-knit hose to wear with it.
