Loreena McKennitt Concert: Trenton, NJ
Last night, Galician, and my wife and I, met in Trenton, NJ, to see a concert by Canadian Celtic songstress Loreena McKennitt. McKennitt and her substantial ensemble put on a great show which showcased her musical survey of the Celtic diaspora from the British Isles, through France, Spain, Italy, and as far east as India and Mongolia. We didn't get any pictures of the concert itself, as photography wasn't allowed, but here are some pictures we did take.
A nifty celtic knot baseball cap that I bought: good for games-and-faire wear, I suspect.

A shot of me infront of the War Memorial Theatre (I realize my leathers don't match: I couldn't find my black boots last night!)

Galician and myself, and a third kiltie that we ran into at a bar before the show. His name was Charlie. I'm in my Maple Leaf tank. Galician is in a SWK Blackwatch standard, I believe. The third chap was in a emerald green Amerikilt.

Galician, and my wife and I, outside the War Memorial theater after the show.

All things considered, it was a great night. It's the third time I have seen Loreena McKennitt, and definitely won't miss her the next time she is playing in the area.
Best to all,
Cirthalion

Excellent pictures, glad it was a good show, but I would expect no less from her, and the Maple Leaf really is striking thanks for posting them.
