    Lovat Green jacket

Just arrived today from Scottishkilts.net. Ordered 9 Sep, arrived 6 Oct.
With my Hay tartan and lovat green Balmoral.

I wore my kilt with a black Argyll to the office today because we were having a party at noon and afternoon. Most of my German employees have seen my kilt but not with the black Argyll jacket. Got lots of favorable comments.
(I think my next kilt may have to be the German National tartan though)

Here is the jacket (and waistcoat) right out of the package, so there are a few wrinkles. I think the color is great. It will go with reds, greens, or browns. I'm sure it will get a lot of use!

That IS a great jacket. You're right, it will certainly go well with reds, greens, and browns.

I've entertained the idea of a German National tartan kilt. I have no German lineage (that I'm aware of.) But, I was stationed there for a couple of years, and found it to be a very welcoming and lovely place. If the tartan popped up in a poly/visc fabric somewhere, I would certainly jump on the oppurtunity.

Looking good. I have a jacket just like that, but I didn't get a waistcoat.

Now, I wish I had a waistcoat. Thanks a lot!

I love the color of your jacket. It goes well with your kilt.

    Beautiful!

Guess I gotta get around to adding one to my wish list. Can see how that green would go well with many of my kilts....
