    The MacRobert Hogmanay 2011

    p.s. ~ I don't know if its the photo but that bonnet your wearing in photo #1 is an interesting colour. Can you tell me more about it? Also, that doesn't appear to be a clan badge on it (am I wrong?). Makes it all the more interesting to look at

    Thank you all for your kind remarks. The bonnet, BoldHighlander, was new but old stock when I bought it. I don't know the maker and the colour, in reality, is a little darker than in the picture (where it looks more like RAF blue). The badge is bracken, the plant badge of Clan Donnachaidh (the Robertsons), although this one is a silver alloy rather than its botanical original. Well spotted!
