Maple Leaf Tartan in Scotland
Members will recall this thread about the 16oz Maple Leaf remnants from Fraser & Kirkbright.

The Wizard of BC was able to source the fabric for me and my completed kilt awaited at Freedom Kilts when I arrived in Victoria.

Today was my Maple Leaf kilt's first outing in Scotland, photographed here after returning from church. Later in the afternoon I will visit Ann and she will see it for the first time. Two slash pockets and a velcro closure pocket on the inner apron. As my father served in Canada with the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan from 1941 to 1943 and almost all my surviving relatives are Canadian, due to the emigration of my mother's family, I am proud to wear the Canadian Maple Leaf.

Welcome to the Maple Leaf club, to echo Glen. It is a beautiful kilt, and you wear it well, as always.
I will say that I, by far, get more comments and questions on my maple leaf than any other kilt I've ever worn. It's such a striking tartan, I guess and it seems that a lot of people recognize it.
In Soviet Russia, kilt wears you.
