March Belmont Kilt Night

Here are some pictures from last night-I know that these are only a small sampling of all the shots that were taken. I'm sure the rest of the rabble will contribute once they feel recovered enough to do so!

The gathering: Walkerk, The Amazing Madalyn, Chris B., and Cameron Taylor

The Lovely Dameris comes to look at the Corduroy X-Kilt as I present it to AlanH

The examination begins (a bit fuzzy)

Prior to this, AlanH had presented the completed skirts in the Lindsay tartan to Laura

And myself (based on this picture, I suspect Way2Fractious will be posting a pleat shot later). Panache couldn't find a pedestal, so we settled for a chair.

Next...we get Alan out of his kilt!

Be well,

So, we decided to see if the Corduroy X-Kilt would fit Alan

Sure enough, it fit pretty well, over the kilt he was wearing

But we figured it would look better without the kilt underneath

I helped, just a little (Panache was taking the pictures remember!)

Next, we all try on AlanH's kilt!

Be well,

Here it is-looking good!

Needed a belt

Fuzzy pleat shot

Dancing shot-Front

Pleats

Meanwhile-what's happening to Alan's kilt?

Be well,

Alan's kilt fits about 1 1/2 times around Panache

But this one can wear it 2 1/2 times around her-it's about a hostess length on her!

We even managed to dress up the other half (or is that the other 3/4?)

But, I just couldn't resist this shot!

Finally, we got Alan back in his kilt and explored one more use for the Corduroy X-Kilt...

Be well,

After a little more dancing...

The little ones were getting tired

One more beer

And it's time to take this girl home to bed

Be well,

Great pictures ya'll. Looks like quite the party. I see in one of the photos that a gentleman in the back has a really retro material kilt on and jacket. Is there another shot of that? Looks wild.
