    Talking Mardi Gras Party 2011

    Every year some friends invite my wife and I to attend the invitation only 'Mystery and Fantasy Mardi Gras Party' here in Houston, and we always have a good time.
    Before we get to the photos, I should explain 2 points;
    1, The party is Black-tie or 'theme costume' only, This year's theme was "A Pharaoh's Fantasy".
    And 2, The event is sponsored by a primarily gay Mardi Gras Krewe.

    On to some photos;

    Here's Shelley dancing in the Egyptian themed ball gown she made for the event.

    I opted for black-tie, with my new jacket... (although I thought about my 'Stargate SG1' uniform...) There are usually 2 or 3 other guys in kilts, but I was it this year, except for a fellow who had a Utilikilt under his Egyptian robes.

    Some outfits were pretty fancy!

    Moses !

    Howard Carter ??

    Here's our good friend Neil, who invites us every year.

    There was a pretty big crowd!
