    Marquette 4th of July, 2006

As I was browsing through my files today, I came across these pics that I took at the 4th of July parade in Marquette, Michigan. Sorry they're late, but, with the snow on the ground and the temp in the teens, it's nice to remember a hot, sunny day!

Some nice kilts and some lovely lasses:

Was that a pipe band or a collection of pipers? They're all wearing different uniforms!

Grand Traverse Pipe and Drums, that's all I know about them, except that they're at the 4th of July Parade every year.

We were at the local ice cream place a couple of years ago, on July 3rd, and they piped their way into the pub next door to practice for the parade.

Maybe someone else from Marquette knows more?

It is always thankful to see that the ladies do not subscribe the to the top to middle of the knee kilt length theory!
