| | | Me, Easter Monday, Hammersmith
This is me, taken in Hammersmith, west London, today - Easter Monday - by my daughter.
Various kiltpins - from the top: silver oak leaf; the X-Marks 2nd run; Light Infantry cap badge; and MFAW ribbon pinned on by a Light Infantry collar dog.
The sporran is made in dark brown latigo according to the pattern in Thompson's book with black bridle leather stiffeners and brass furniture (the tassle balls are Chinese mock-ivory Owls, and the fixture is a toggle) - I call it a Mac Thňmais in deference to the writer.
Dodgy "Matrix-style" shades, scruffy wharehouse overall jacket, ancient two-tone blue polo shirt, Brewin navy blue hose, and Black Scarpa boots complete the ensemble.
The angle of the shot makes the kilt look a bit long.
The kilt is a Union Kilts' Black Watch.

Looking very sharp, I like the receptacle for gum butts. As you may have seen from my website, I rode the 27 bus route in November 2005, which passes through Hammersmith. I was pursuing the silver lady Routemaster in the special 1977 Queen's Silver Jubilee colour scheme, when it made a special run on that route to mark the final day of FirstBus operating the route, when they lost the contract, but unfortunately I had to shadow it on a modern bus rather than riding in it.

Very sharp casual-grunge look. I like the decoration on the sporran flap. do you have a close-up of it?

The rather beaten-up sporran strap is sentimental: it was my grandfather's, pre-WWI.

I'm liking the stacked kilt pins look.
Great idea!
