    Me in my Douglas Modern

We were getting ready to head out from the Gatlinburg Games and mizzphinz decided to get a shot as I was about to take my boots off.

Nothing fancy or heavily posed like some of the great photos on this site, but a picture of me in my clan tartan nevertheless.

So this is how liberty dies.

    With thunderous applause.

Games were great but muddy. Between the mud and the humidity I was ready to head to the house. I came home and slept for a while.

This was my first real outing in the kilt, though the night before I had been out in my AK to the liquor store on the way to a friends' house. I actually forgot I even had a kilt on until I felt the mud splashing up on the insides of my thighs when negotiating the swamp. I've had the Douglas for 6 years or so and this was the first time I'd worn it outside the house/yard/et cetera.

You don't look overstated, just comfortable. That is a fine looking tartan. What color is that vehicle?

Toyota calls it Black Cherry Pearl.

Not me. It's Maroon, like the blood that flows in these veins. Farmers fight!!!
