Mid-Atlantic Day After Burns Day Event
Here's a picture thread for the Jan. 26 event we had at the Ram's Head Tavern in Savage, Maryland. We didn't get a lot of pictures, and i think we all got this picture:

We are, from left to right: Frank McGrath, kilted brewer, davedove, canawler, Ian.MacAllan, and cacunn.

The poor waitress was one of only two servers that day, as the rest had called in. She was terribly stressed as another group of about 80 people had just come in, in addition to the other customers. I offered her a hug and she accepted. Really, no matter how it looks, I'm not really molesting her.

It was also the debut appearance of the Dove tartan kilt:

I recognize that sweater... I have two by them, both gifts from my mother. Do you find that they snag easily?

I haven't noticed any problems, but I haven't worn it a lot. I'm just not a big sweater guy.

Great pics and looks like you had a good time, but what exactly as a Mid Atlantic day.
Here in Scotland the phrase Mid Atlantic is usually applied as an adjective to describe a person's accent if they speak a blend of Scots with Canadian or American.

Yeah the title may be a bit confusing. It was a Day After Burns Day event, that took place in the Mid-Atlantic region of the US.
