If you look at the first picture very carefully you will see an island off in the distance in the middle of the river. That is Bannerman's Island and there is a replica of a Scottish castle there that was built to hold munitions by a war surplus dealer of Scottish decent. Look up Bannerman's Island on the web. It is quite a story.
