Move over Mel Gibson - kilt #25 is a Braveheart!

Having won the kilt on ebay only a couple of weeks ago I watched the movie on DVD again yesterday.

And this morning the postman knocked on my door!

I opened the parcel and started taking the photographs!

Here is the front apron with the added nice surprise of matching flashes which were not mentioned in the auction or expected!



And from the rear, still with the basting stitches.

I put it on to try it - it fitted perfectly and took this mirror shot of the pleats with the stitches still in place before removing them.



Then took it off to capture some details.

You can see how deep the pleats are even with the basting stitches still in place.

Wow, that is beautiful. That coarse, heavy material is so wonderful. Be sure to post some more photos without the stitches!
