    My First Hat

I got my first hat on Thursday, it’s a Glengarry. I am very pleased with it, even though I think I might be wearing it a bit to low. Here are some pictures (excuse the fact that there taken from a web cam)

Are those reversed images? The cockade & badge on glengarries and bonnets are traditionally worn over the left eye, following British Army custom.

I wondered the same thing, till I realised that we were looking at webcam pics. The glengarry looks very smart.

Very nice. I always wear a glengarry when piping as I don't care much for the balmoral.

Looks fine to me. I usually wear mine centered fore & aft, at two fingers over the left eyebrow and one finger over the right (gives it a slight tilt to the right).
