My first pics
This is my first attempt to post photos of my new kilt. Sorry the lighting isn't very good. The kilt is a Stillwater standard in Blackwatch. The jersey is Albert Haynesworth's rookie jersey. I am a Univ of TN grad for those interested in NFL.
Here it goes.

There's very little wrong with the lighting, Heath, and you look just fine in the kilt. Well done!
However, and I mean no offence to one who is starting out on the kilted path, but I'd save that jersey for wear with a plain, solid-colour kilt. The tartan does nothing for the jersey, and the jersey certainly does nothing for the tartan!!
Sorry, but I have to agree with Blu - you really should try to curb the wild laughter when posing for self-pics! ;) Take a look at my Photo Gallery (link below my signature) to see how not to smile or laugh. By the way, 99% of those photos are self-pic shots and were taken over the past five/six years.
Enjoy the kilt - it'll be the first of many, believe me (and I should know!).

thanks...I think
Thank you for the comments. I was hoping the pic would come up without having to click.
Blu, I've never tried the caber toss. Might give it a try though, some day.
My smile feels awkward. The only time I smile in a photo is when I'm laughing. So I'm used to the comments on my smile. Even though...wearing a kilt ought to make me smile more. I'll work on it.
And Hamish, I'll try to find something more appropriate fo the next photos.

HB,
Welcome to the club. I *rarely* smile in photos... Usually when I do, it looks like a smirk instead. Literally, my driver's license photo looks like a mugshot, and, I have dubbed it "Prison Guy"... Only thing that's missing is the orange jumpsuit... ;-)
