My new acqusition
I have been doing some serious saving the past few months. No new Cilts I'm afraid but I have at last been able to purchase my new acoustic guitar. Its a Martin Custom (Orchestral series). I bought it second hand from a very reputable music shop in town, but it still cost ' serious morgage' money. Theres no electrics with it, its simply an acoustic. The sound is incredible and I'm very pleased with it. I will only be using it at our folk club and concert gigs. The pub n Ceilidhs gigs we sometimes do, I will use my old one.

Hello Derek,
It certainly looks good - I will have to wait till the next Folk Fest to hear if it sounds as good as you say.

A wonderful instrument. In my humble opinion Martin is the top of the heap of the guitar world.
Congratulations,
Rev.

Nice one Derek.
So similar to your avatar pic, except different kilt and new guitar.

Hmmmm. Alex, look closely - I think that might be the new Derek Cutout raising it's head.
Good for you Derek. I look forward to the next time I hear you and Elaine perform. Whenever that may be.....it's been too long.
