I love that kilt. I really want a denim kilt, Im not sure which to get though, a union kilt or a utilikilt. I like both.

My friend dubbed the pic -The Good Life & I am highly in agreement. I love the denim kilt other than the rolling problem hem and pleat problem. I had to dry in the dryer (tumble) because I wanted it clean to wear on this trip, that might be part of the problem. I will lookup and try Ron's hanging weights. I know I saw them on here somewhere. I really like the denim kilt. I was surprised by how much more I enjoy wearing it than my workmans. Its just more comfortable. I am really excited about getting a tartan kilt, all I've gotta do is lose about 60 lbs.

This is an absolutely beautiful place to vacation. We're really lucky to have the option to come down here. I'd never really spent anytime on the East Coast until my mom moved here, now we're thinking about following her.

Hanging weights are easy. If you're flush, buy a lot of picnic table cloth weights and just clip on the hem when you hang dry the kilt.

I bought extra hanger clips by the bag at WalMart and duct taped 1/2 ounce lead fishing weights to both sides of each clip.

Works well, the weights pull the pleats straight while the kilt dries. No pleat curl. Only takes a few minutes to clip on the weights...less time than to heat up an iron.

It does take a while to tape the weights to the clips. A good activity for watching sports on tv.

Thanks Ron! That's alot easy than having to go look for it.

We got the whole family sitting around, while we wait for dinner, having cocktails and trying to figure out the best way to do weight the pleats.
