| | | New 11 oz. Ross Red Modern Kilt
Hi,
this is my new handmade Red Ross Modern Tratan kilt, made out of 11 oz. wool. The lady who made it for me had some problems with the pleats, because some of them were about 20 cm (almost 8 inch) deep.
It feels very soft and swing quite nice.
Full Dress without plaid
...and with plaid
This is my 2nd kilt and I fear, there will be more than 4 at the end, because my 3rd is comming in february from House of Edgar in Weir Modern Tartan.

The Ross has always been one I have liked, and you wear it very well. Congratulations.
I have slight reservations concerning the plaid, but then I am known for disliking them per se!
Take care,
Ham.

Looking very smart and I like the plaid too!
Just wondering though if 11 oz isn't a trifle lightweight?

Looks great! I like the plaid also. (with a slight deferential nod to the man with 86 kilts )
A couple more on the way! Nothin' wrong with that
