    New coat was a bargain

Went into H & M yesterday ... they got a large sale on. I managed to pick up a great coat for the mountains .. £40 reduced to £15
Its really heavy, padded and long. Will get to try it out properly this weekend when we are heading for The Goose and Cuckoo for some pub grub and a bevy

    Looks really warm and windproof.

Interesting thing; couple of days ago I went to our local H&M and just found out they don't offer anything for men; only for women and kids (boys & girls). Really don't know what to think off?!?!? I should ask them about their sales policy.

Sorry for partially hijack your post.

Well, Derek that certainly appears to be a bargain - well spotted.

Personally, I have nothing like that to wear - if the weather is that bad, I just do not go out!!

    Take care,
    Ham.

    Very good Derek.
I do have a plastic mac to wear over my kilts if it is raining really heavily, but mainly I wear a jacket with an elasticated waist with my kilts in cold weather, it seems a shame to cover up a nice kilt.
