    new heritage of scotland kilt

OK, I have been jonsing for a new kilt for some time and my wife really likes the Heritage of Scotland tartan, so.. I bought one a the Salado Highland Games. I finally wore it to church this morning, and knowing how the rabble loves pictures, here it is. No comments on the white hose please, I have black ones on my Christmas list since I couldn't find any real purple ones to match it.

Congrats on the new kilt and thanks for sharing the pic.

In addition to the black hose you are waiting on, I think grey would work nicely as well. They aren't as stark as black hose and they work with most anything.

    A fine-looking accoutrement.

My only suggestion is to unbutton the jacket, so we can see the buttons on the waistcoat.

Very nice looking, sir! Me likes!

As for the white hose, no sweat! I agree with Colin, though, gray would go nicely, as would the right shade of blue or purple, also.

Nice kilt, BD! You should have come over to my tent and traded some scotch; a must do when you get a new kilt.

Be sure to check out the Lewis Hose, they have quite a range of colours....including purple!
