I decided to treat myself today and bought a new tweed Argyle & waistcoat in charcoal. i think it looks rather snappy myself. it's going back to the shop next week to have the sleeves shortened 1/2"...

Nice! You can't go wrong with a charcoal tweed argyll. Good call on the sleeves- it's the most important thing for the fit I think.

Nice jacket. Must be a little convenient to be able to drive somewhere to buy one.

Looks grand, I find my charcoal tweed and waistcoat are the most versatile in my wardrobe, I'm sure you will get lots of wear from it.

Charcoal is such a versatile color and you can pair it with any tartan. Good choice and besides getting a Lovat Argyle & waistcoat charcoal would be my next choice.
