To answer bilmcc, it is pleated to the stripe, and I have to give credit wehere credit is due, Frugal Corner delivered a nice kilt. I don't own a 13oz., but this 16oz. is really nice.
To arlen, you think I should grow out my chops again?

Oh yeah. Proper farmer chops like in your older Piping pictures.
You're one of the few folk I know who can get away with it and they really do suit you.

How are the freshers dealing with your kilts and piping?

I went to a dance party tonight, slid my sporran to the side, and the ladies were all over me. So I think it's a hit.
Might have to to more field research...

Awesome choice! I am considering getting a Pride of Scotland minikilt myself. It's a lovely tartan. As one of my coworkers said, "There's nothing sexier than a man in a kilt." True dat.
