    New Kilt & Banner

Well, about 2 months ago I finished a kilt made from Material from Joanne's Fabric. It's pretty much Royal Stewart with some minor differences... I also made a Tartan banner out of some of the left over material.

Nice work, wish I had the talent for that type of thing.

Very nice, particularly the banner. That's a great idea!

Now you can lead a parade!

It's a four yard knife pleat to stripe.

It Fastens with two buttons (very inexpensive).

It does have a hem, because it did not have a good selvage line.

I put some elastic in the waist band, but only gave it a ever so slight amount of tension.

I made it for the hot Florida weather!! Plus I can throw this one in the wash.

About $15 - $20 in materials and a priceless amount of fun!
