Very nice, its good seeing you wear the RAF with such dignaty. I do appreciate your photos, you regularly post, especially the subject matter. I grew up raised by a step father, who was career US Air Force. I am a military brat, who joined the Marines, and whose son, has joined the Marines.. my mothers family, who live throughout England, Australia, and Ireland, are also military.

You look great Alex. I'd love to see that kilt 1st hand as it were.

My Father was Royal Airforce (1938 to 1946) and though I'm Army through and through I've considered the RAF tartan as a tribute to the nicest bloke I ever met. I don't know if it would wash though after all the harsh things I said in banter with "Crabs" when I was in...

In regard to USAF wearing the RAF tartan, I think that would be most appropriate considering the number of American pilots who volunteered and flew with the RAF during Britain's darkest hour.

Lest we forget! ... which we don't.
    Best Regards John
