    New Sporran from Caledonian creations

Came royal mail last week. About 3 weeks from the order to the door (uk->us). Very pleased with it, very nice workmanship. I asked for a strap instead of a chain(I have plenty of chains) and he said no problem. They have some of the most unique clasp options I have seen on sporrans.

Nice sporran, I have been admiring the clasp that you chose. How you do like it? Any "quirks" in the use of it?

I think it is the best working clasp I have. I have another sporran with a weighted top and a snap that is worthless as far as staying closed. I also have a RobRoy style that uses a leather monkey fist knot to hold it shut. It works, but is kind of a pain to cinch up when you close it.

The pin style clasp on this new sporran holds tight and is easy to get in and out of.

I give it 2 thumbs up.

I like the juxtaposition of your tough expression and the kitty cat in the chair behind you.

    I like the sporran, too.

LOL, don't let the cat fool you, he is evil. He sleeps on kilts adding his own colours to the tartan, and boy can he shred sofas. If not for the wife, he may have moved out long ago.

You and I are in the same boat, my friend. My wife has two of them.

Thats a very nice sporran. I've got the same problem with cat hair. If I didn't have lint-roller to keep my kilts clean, the cat would be the sporran.

Cannot comment on cat hair, but will say that is a mighty fine looking sporran!

My little blonde dog is a shedding machine too. I'm constantly having to wipe long blonde hairs off my clothes. That has gotten some funny comments, considering my spouse has short black hair!
