    New Tank!

Here are pics of my new MacNeil of Barra Ancient tank (House of Edgar) and my Thorfinn Sporran (Turpin #44). These were taken at the NYC Tartan Day. Kilt couldn't fit better; and the sporran is shown with its Red Fox flap. Turpin made another flap for me in matching leather...couldn't be happier with it.

    At the pub....

And a pleat shot as we rambled down the street...

And this shall be for music, when no one else is near; The fine song for singing, the rare song to hear; That only I remember, that only you admire; Of the broad road that stretches and the roadside fire. (RL Stevenson)

I assume, from his description, it's one that was not only woven but also sewn into kilt by HofE. I could be totally wrong though.

Not wrong at all...Hof E did it all, through Pipers' Cove in New Jersey.

Wonderful kilt and sporran--and I love the pleat shot with its "genuine swinging action." Swish!
