New toys, part 2

Couldn't fit everything in one post.

My birthday present to myself, my new guitar. It's a Cort EVL-X4. I got it from the music store where my daughter works. It was nice to get her employee discount. Now there's just one little detail left. I actually have to learn to play. I signed up for lessons finally so I am expecting to make some progress now.

I had a most horrifying epiphany reading this, I've never seen Spinal Tap. I've only heard people talk about it. Gawd, where did I go wrong. I even had to explain the reference to my daughter. I see room in my future for a themed movie nite.

I did get the reference tho, that must count for something.

From a guy who has seen the movie umpteen times since it was in the theatres in 19blahblahblah.... It gets funnier the more times you watch it. Be in a band.. and it's veen funnier...

A few weeks back, my marching band was in the Staten Island St Patrick's Day Parade and missed the buss to the head of the parade. Started walking and had no clue where we were going.. so there's me walkign around a not so nice part of SI screaming "Hallloooo Cleveland!"
