    Thanks for that pic P1M,

Finally researched the tartan and of course its only a fashion tartan from the mill. But they gave it a name I can identify with and it looks great so I'm happy.

Beautiful tartan, beautiful kilt and well dressed...the brown leather (nice Freelander btw) goes very well with the green.

    You look great!

    Ron,

btw, did you know there is another Buccleuch Tartan? It was worn by the pipers of the 4th Battalion, King's Own Scottish Borderers:

Ron, Yet another 'treasure' to be added to your Kollection. Even if the tartan is not authentic, it is still very attractive, and it has been made into a beautiful kilt which you wear well, with top-notch co-ordination.

I now know for myself just how fine the 'USA Kilts' kilts really are. I gave mine its first outing today, to our Parish Church's annual Flower Festival. This year's theme was "For All the Saints" (each flower arrangement in the 12th Century church representing a different Saint). As I stood admiring the 'St. Patrick' arrangement, a woman beside me whispered, "Your kilt and shirt perfectly match the colours of those flowers". That made me remember I was wearing Ireland's National tartan, and when I explained this to the woman she just smiled knowingly! Unfortunately, I did not have my camera with me or I might have posed with the flowers for a photo.
