New wolf head cane
As some of you may already know, I need to use a cane to get about. Since my wedding is drawing near, I decided to invest a few dollars in what will hopefully become a family heirloom someday: A hand-carved (and laser etched) walking cane with a wolf's head. I purchased the cane from Ivan and Debi Wilson of Wilson Staffs, who are located in Kamloops, British Columbia. Ivan is an incredible artist and does some fantastic carving (just take a look at his site and you'll see what I mean).
Anyway, here's a few pics of the cane Ivan made for me...

There are (seven) more pics here if you'd like to see more of the cane.
Thanks!

MacSimon,
As one who collects and enjoys walking sticks, that is a VERY handsome piece!

That really is beautiful work. I may be wrong, but I'm guessing the wood is maple. I love the way the artist has blended the curve at the top of the cane into the carving.

That's a beautiful cane, and sure to become an heirloom. Congratulations!
