I noticed that you had a very special guest there, but he coloured his hair to avoid being recognised: Ozzie Osbourne!!! Did anyone else see through his disguise?!!!

[PS: I just love your tartan, Kent. What is it?]
Weathered Johnson, I believe. It is positively stunning in person, and crafted by Master Nor Cal Rabble Kiltmaker....way2fractious.

There were three way2fractious - made kilts there... his own X-Marks tartan kilt pleated to sett, Panache's X Marks tartan kilt, military box pleat, and WalkerK's weathered Johnson.

Two Alan H made-kilts were in attendance...actually three, but one of the three was delivered that night and didn't make it to the wearers hips....Piper George's 8 yard knife-pleated Dutch MacKay, Alan H's own 6-yard knife pleated-to-no-stripe X Marks kilt, and an essentially brand-new X Marks box pleat kilt for Tim C.

I suppose there were actually four Alan H made kilts in attendance, as I banged together Panache's PINK KILT as well!

    Hi Hamish,

My kilt is a Weathered Johnston tartan. The lighting makes the colors look somewhat strange. Here's a message thread with some better pictures: http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/e...x.html?t=30018

    Wow, what a great evening!

I attended the festivities with my family and we all enjoyed it a great deal. I also talked a friend and his family into attending and they had a great time. I had hoped the pictures I took would be good enough to post, but alas they were not.
My 8 year old daughter has even been telling school friends (and their parents) about what a wonderful time she had.
Thanks to Panache and WalkerK and all their families for all their work in organizing such a great evening.
Thanks again and I'll be seeing you soon,
    Charlie

    Hhmmm...

Just pointing out that there was one of the rabble missing from the Nor Cal group picture. I'm not sure who he was but I distinctly remember him being there... My mind was slightly fuzzy from the single malt...

    LOL!

Poor Ray! I'm sorry. We'll take all the more pictures of you at the next gathering, I promise!

Ok, so, who left these behind?

They're very nice, with little silver handles in a tortoiseshell design. Just send a PM or post if they belong to you, otherwise, I'm happy to keep em!

Thank you Kent, and Alan, for that. They are both real beauties - the tartan and the kilt!

One more for my 'Wish List'!

    Take care,
    Ham.
