Normandy vacation
I thought some of my vacation piccies from Normany would be of interest to the Rabble. We visited the both the American and Canadian memorial cemetery. It was a very special and moving experience for us visiting these places just a few days after the horrible acts in Norway 22. July where 77 people was killed.

Thank you so much for the wonderful pictures, sobering though they are. Such beautifully kept places for our fallen, but I never ever loose the thoughts of; "What a waste life, though in the circumstance necessary" and "when will we ever learn".

Superb photos, thank you so much for sharing. I have yet to travel to these "hallowed" places, but as a U.S. military veteran myself, with great admiration for the "greatest generation," I shall be there sometime very soon.
Best wishes,
