    Not Kilted, I am Joking

Some of you requested a picture of me NOT in my kilt but wearing my jester outfit for the renaissance faire. Here I am helping another renaissance kid on the stilts. Laugh if you want to, I guess that is why I am a jester.

    DALE.

There's a lot of whimsy in that costume! What a lot of fun that must have been.

Now, how do you come to be a jester at a Ren-Faire?

That's a great outfit, Dale! The kids pose looks a bit "stilted," though...

I imagine that's a lot of fun being a jester at the Ren Faire. With an outfit like that, surely you "jest" somewhere else?

Tee hee, don't let Graham see this. He may decide to trade his green tights in on a pair of blue and yellow tights... ;-)

    Looks pretty cool, actually.

To become a jester at a ren faire, put on a jester costume and walk in. Our local faire never had a jester until last year when I did that. This year we ended up with two jesters, which was twice the fun as he was like me in my humor. He would start something and I could finish it, or vice versa.

My costume was made by our theater costume lady, but I am sure you can buy or rent them too.

    DALE.
