    Not Your Average Chicken Farmer

Went out to count the chickens this evening. I wonder if your average small-time chicken farmer dresses like this to tend his flock?

What I want to know is, do the hens lay more eggs when you've tended them kilted?

The average chicken farmer wears buckle brogues.

Those are some nice looking hose! Did your Mrs. make them?

We've "put up" most of our chickens for the summer. I'll have to get some pictures of the turkeys.

I've expect there'll be nothing unusual except for the occasional 16 oz. plaid egg....

Matt, you look the perfect country gentleman. Aren't you hot in that outfit? I'm all the way up in New York during a relatively cool summer and the heat and humidity would kill me if I wore something like that in July.
