So I just finished yours where's mine?!
So this isn't normal fare for me Rocky wanted certain things. 1.25" straps the same colour as the kilt
A hammer loop over the right pocket
There was some other stuff too but I won't go into it.
It'll be shipped out soon.
Cheers
Robert

Woo Hoo! Looks pretty much exactly as I wanted (matches the picture in my head). For those out there reading this... please know that I was a pain in the @$$ about wanting things a specific way and Robert DEFINITELY went above and beyond to accomodate me. If all my customers were like me, I think I'd quit.
Robert... I'm waiting for your vest to get here to ship the kilt out with it. Kilt is almost ready to be cut... I have 4 "Premiers" in a row to make, so I'm using yours to break up the manotony for me... almost done the first 2, so I'll be starting soon!

Boy talk about being in with the in crowd... I wish I had been a fly on the wall during that conversation!

It was fun and it's good to think outside the box.
Busy week-end ahead I have a brown kilt to get on the table and a few others before I'm off to Ham land and Hol land

I hope you like the way it came out as well and hopefully it gave you some new options to offer potential PITA customers or have I soured you to custom stuff? I can't wait to get it.

Okay leather kilt pics should be banned from this site. Robert makes beautiful kilts that should not be shown to the likes of me. Taking it even further Robert shouldn't be wearing them to our kilt nights as he gets more attention han the rest of us much younger rabbleites. As always Robert excellent work. Rocky, nice touches on the custom requests, perhaps some changes could make it into RKilts options list.

I can't wait to get it. | I'm not soured at doing custom items. Some things take a little longer, planning takes time. You were willing to pay so that's cool. For example making matching colour straps takes a couple of hours. I had to get my leather sized to a certain thickness then laminate the bronze leather to the strap. Also have to have the right tools for the job. Everything is do-able.
I'm very pleased with the way it turned out. I also really like this colour of leather and the feel of it.
I hope you will have fun wearing it....you may want to do some weight lifting....6yds of leather adds up.
