    Osaka holiday

This year, as some of you may know or remember from some previous forum threads, has been a very difficult for us financially. While this isn't exactly a "staycation" it is in the sense that we didn't travel internationally.

Since neither my wife nor I had been to Osaka before, we decided to take a few days and drive down -- about 6 hours by car. We visited some of the main sites, including (and especially) Osaka Castle and got to visit some long-lost friends who had moved to the city. We had a lovely time and I'd certainly be up to doing it again someday.

I spent the entire vacation comfortably attired, as I did not even bring anything bifurcated (although I didn't restrict my selections entirely to kilts either).

Anyway, here's a piccy of my better half and I at Osaka Castle. If you want to see the rest of the brief slideshow, go ahead and click through using the link at the bottom of the post.

Very nice. I never made it to Osaka myself, but Kyoto was great! I agree that the kilt fits pretty well in those environs.
The grass is greener on the other side of the fence...and it's usually greenest right above the septic tank.

    Osaka ga ichiban!

Fabulous background and a wonderful photo! The kilt really fits nicely into the surroundings, and of course, is more comfortable than p@nts.

Japan is one of my dream vacations.

    Thumbs up

Great Pic - I agree with the others on your "eco" friendly choice of kilt !!
