    Past several days

Just thought I post a couple of light hearted pics of what we have been up to the past several days.
There have been a few serious threads and posts on xmarks recently about our cilting/kilting, and for me Ron (Riverkilt) summed up quite simply what its all about in my opinion in one of his latest posts. Simply, less time on computers chatting about it and more time just strapping ones cilt/kilt on and going on some adventures in that big wide world out there.
    So here a few pics
Weds eve we went to the students media awards which my wife helps organise with the media students. The wife is the pa to the editor of the weekly students newspaper. The editor is changed each year. The students vote for the candidates who put up for it. The wife loves working with the young people many of them call her mum, because she quite often makes them black coffee etc to help with their hangovers and listens to their 'troubles' in love lives etc.
Anyhow , waiting at the bar in the hotel where the awards ceremony was held

The view from our table was quite spectacular .. oh to be young again ..

Thurs we met a friend down town for a coffee after I had picked my baby taylor acoustic after having the action and neck altered on it.

Fri we went for a pub lunch in our favourite haunt .. it was a rather cold n wet day, They had the fire roaring, so we had a quick warm up

And yesterday we did a little shopping in town and then had a bevy before coming home and watching the footie ... Man U ver Barcelona

Thats it till another cilted adventure, which I think going to be today.

Nice sentiment Derek. And our families have done the odd kilted adventure together and most enjoyable they were too.

I'll have to wait for your pictures as I'm away at work (blocked) but I'll have another shufftie at the thread when I get home.

    Cheers mate!
    Best Regards John

Well done. Looks like an enjoyable time. I also have a baby Taylor acoustic guitar. They make the best travel companions. And I like those converse with the kilt! I am going to have to "step" out and try that myself.

Looks like a grand time. And I'm a bit jealous of your "cold n wet" Friday - it may hit 100°f/38°c here today.

I also play a Baby Taylor Acoustic! Did I just not recognize it in your other posts, or are you photographed with a variety of guitars?

    BTW, excellent pictures, as always.
