Pastor Nan and her Clark/Clergy tartan stole

I finally finished Nan's stole. This made from "13 ounce" tartan from the Frugal Corner. It's backed with two thicknesses of navy blue twill, but you can't see that from the front. All in all, I think it came out well, and lots of folks asked about it, today. Nan is a wonderful person, she's the associate pastor at my Presbyterian church. OK, it's not a kilt, but it's tartan!

Looks wonderful, a very thoughtful gift.

I'm glad you posted a picture. I've been looking for it since you first said you were making it.

Very nice Alan, that is a wonderful gift, I'm sure it means a lot to her.

The Associate Pastor at our Presbyterian Church (also a lady) wears a stole made of her family tartan.

That is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! If I were handy with the sewing machine, I'd love to make some stoles like that for friends.
As it were, I'm currently engaged in taking apart, repainting, and putting back together some drums for my band...so, I can use screw drivers and wrenches, but, alas, no sewing machine skills!
I think you could definitely have a market for your clergy stoles! Fantastic work!
