    Perth

Back in Perth for the first time since the highland games last August

    The Robert Burns pub

    Perth's statue of the bard.

Just like Glasgow, the locals in Perth adorn their statues with traffic cones as headgear!!

Down by the banks of the silvery River Tay

    Hayat wanted to go shopping.....

.....so I dragged her along to the local kilt shop

The famous (or infamous!) Scotch Whisky kilt was on display in the window
    www.whiskykilt.com

    We went out for lunch

An excellent restaurant, Deans@LetsEat, which I could highly recommend.

Lovely pictures. Even the Scotch Whisky kilt. But my eye was drawn to the background of that pic to the fuzzy blue sporran. I'm trying to imagine a kilt to go with that.

    Thanks for sharing.

I was thinking that blue sporran might go nicely with a kilt in the xmarksthescot tartan

Hi Alex. Admit it... you put the cone on his head didn't you?

Great pictures mate. Are you coming out to play in Dumfries in March? We're up there for the second weekend. It would be nice to see you again if you are about.
    Best Regards John
