Personally, I'll never go to Fergus as a clan tent ever again because I wasn't able to march in the Clan Parade and it took over two hours to be told where I could set my tent up. The tents themselves were already up. It was just a matter of getting the name tags pinned on them. I was very unimpressed. Perhaps I'm spoiled because I've seen games where when you walk in it's already done and you can just move your stuff in.
Live and Learn. Otherwise it was a good day at the tent. I ran into several MacKinnon's. No Septs though. I'm hoping the ones that took applications for the society join.

Fantastic photos. It was lovely to finally meet Catherine and great to see you again Glen. We ended up pinned down by the rain in the big tent. 'Twas a lovely day though.

First time, so any difficulties transparent to me. Met Catherine, Glen and Pete of Canadian Casual and enjoyed day. Aside from the pipe bands and competitors there seemed to be many more gents with kilts than ladies with skirts. Sign of the times.

It is always bad news when organisers don't organise. Like a house of cards, each one relies on the next; if they don't do their job properly, then everyone suffers.
Regardless of that though, these are some great pics.
Regards Chas
