Quebec Curling
I just got home from the Bedford Masonic District (Quebec) Bonspiel and have pictures as promised. I was the only one kilted and it was well received. One lady commented on my Past Master's emblem kilt pin and told me that she took my picture to send to her daughter! Whoa! Actually the daughter is a curler and didn't believe her mother who said that people curl in kilts. The photo was to show her. I do have to admit though that every time I looked up at the gallery all I saw were smiling ladies. The one time I tripped over a stone all I could think was "The h*ll with your head! Keep your legs together!"
We placed third and our prize was ham!
Here are some pics:

Not very flattering but it is a pleat shot

Great photos! I love to watch curling on TV. I got interested in it during the last winter Olympics and had to watch every match with the American team from Minnesota... especially when they won the bronze medal. And, since curling was invented in Scotland, it's most appropriate that it be done in a kilt.

I watch curling quite often for someone who doesn't fully grasp the stratagies and scoring. You are the first kilted player I've seen. I think you might also have a slight advantage. Well done.

Looks like FUN!
Amoskeag,
Just finished meeting at the Masonic Lodge here for the first time, they were celebrating George Washington’s birthday. A nice diner and I had me first interview.
I was a little concerned when asked about my wife; we are separated getting a divorce, no children. I guess we will see how it goes.
