Ready for party
Each year, tree families in neighbourhood meet on the party in Christmas/New Year time. Each year one family is hosting the party. This year I decided to go kilted.
Here I'm ready to go:

It was not far, so no extra protection against cold was needed. Although the temperature was -12 deg. C.
This was most public appearance kilted for now. I was kilted on New Year eve, but this was in my sister-in-law weekend house and therefore not really public.
Regards to all!

You look great! Did you make the kilt?
.
The obscure we see eventually. The completely obvious, it seems, takes longer.

Very nice turn out, how did everyone like it?

There were no special comments. Just nodding and admiration (like "you did it by yourself???)
I was so polite to ask them if they would fill uncomfortable if I show up kilted. It is true that what I’m wearing is my choice, but being polite and not destructive is my way to go.
The lady, hosting the party did check the fill of tartan; holding the hem of kilt and lift it a bit. I had a filling that she was trying to check what’s under it, but changed here mind very fast.
So, they like the kilt, but otherwise it was more like no comment at all, which I liked; like nothing special is going on, which again is true. Right?

Fantastic! If you keep wearing it, you may get other converts who want to make their own kilts, and then you can have Kilt Nights!
