    Real McKenzies in Guelph ON

    Hey guys I had a bit of a crazy weekend, I had finish of 6 kilts for a wedding and delivery them no biggy there, but for a treat my wife got me tickets to go see on of my favourite bands The Real Mackenzies, people should know that I am a huge fan of old school punk, and if you haven't got anything from these guys you should, their new album is wicked.
    My friend was on of the folks who were promoting the show so he called me up and said you wanna meet theses gys before the show I said sure, long stroy short they were great fun to hang out with Matt "the piper"and Paul McKenzie"the singer"were great guys to hang out with, they kept me uo late which kinda was bad as I had to do a festival saturday morning, here are some shots from the show .

    MacKenzies

    Saw MacHummel at his CCK booth at the Toronto Celtic Festival on Saturday afternoon. Ordered a kilt in Campbell Cawdor which I am looking forward to. Festival is held in Kew Gardens in the east end of Toronto. On one side is Lake Ontario and the other is the trendy streets of Queen East and the Beaches. There was a good assortment of entertainment and an informal atmosphere which I like. Also a few kilt wearers.

    Looks like it was a great time - ah, Guelph.. my old home town. Thanks for the photos. Reminded me of all the great bands I saw while living there.
