    Recent band photo...

This is a recent (11/7/09) photo of my band, The Mad Maggies. It's stage lighting, obviously, but I'm wearing my USAK Tara/Murphy semi trad, Thorfinn sporran, etc...

It was a "house" gig at an open stage recording studio. Really GREAT sound!

It's been 20 years since I visited there. The nice thing about the "Bay Area" is there are so many interesting towns and place to visit. All were just within a few hours drive (or an hour if I flew) from my house in Blossom Valley (San Jose.)

I've lost count of how many great bands I've seen in some little out-of-the way pub or bar. I'm sorry to say, I didn't have the pleasure of catching yours though. Maybe the next time I'm down.

That Accordion Babes Calendar will make a great Christmas present for a certain friend who appreciates fine art like that.

Does your band record? If so, is there a way to listen to your music (B4 purchasing)?

You've been doing your homework! Good on you Sir!

I've had the pleasure of sharing the stage with most of the Babes at one time or another over the past couple of years (some are old friends--and one is my wife!), and what a fine, beautiful and talented bunch of women they are!

BTW, the calendars are available from us (The Mad Maggies), or if you want a batch at a discounted rate go here: 2010 West Coast Accordion Babes Calendar.

You can listen here: CD Baby

    and here: Amazon

Or, if you like iTunes just do a search for "The Mad Maggies" in the iTunes store.

Our MySpace and ReverbNation pages (see the links in my signature below) each have a selection of full length tunes.

And we have some free MP3s for the taking on our home site: Free MP3s
