    recent kilting photos

Here are some photos from recent kilted outings.

you remember the last kilt night I had at the college? Here's the latest one. Me, my friend Mike, and a prospective student at Beloit:

I'm in the saffron, the "prospie" is in my Gordon modern, and Mike (a new kiltie!) is in my dress Gordon.

This next one is a friend and I trying to teach one my my professor's the finer points of piping:

Red shirt with saffron kilt. Who would have thunk it? Looks sharp, thanks for that tip.

So, inquiring minds want to know... Did your professor get any sound out of the pipes? I really like that last photo... Looking good lad!

I like the jacket "mike" is wearing in the last one. Has that British punk feel to it.

Hehe, I sympathise with my colleague there... I just got my first pipes a week or so ago, and am busy blowing in the chanter reed - I sure hope the poor guy was not given a new reed!

Ah, yes, college days (as a student)...
