Recieved this as a gift!
I wore my kilt to a church function one evening and had my sgian dubh in my hose. I have one madw by our own J.S. Sanders, one like on his web site with bodark wood. It is always a source if conversation, this night was no different as one of the church members ask about it. I was happy to pull it out and let him take a look. He told me he had one that he ordered and did not need as it did not fit his knife collection and that he would like for me to have it. Several months went by and all was forgotten, his wife got sick and we just was not able to get back together. Last night I stopped by to pick up some photos that she took of the first wedding I was blessed to officiate. He handed me the sgian dubh with the comment I had promised you this months ago. and he hands me this. I was dumbfounded to say the least.

A real beauty in the sheath with a wood and stag handle.

with out sheath

Handle

Blade

Sgian and Sheath
It is made by The Sgian Dubh Co. of Scotland and in MHO a beautiful piece.
Slainte,
Rev.

Yes, a very nice gift indeed. Always give a penny to cut the bad luck of a blade as a gift.
