    Red....LOTS of Red...and a Little Black

The colors of the local high school teams are red and black.

This weekend is our big hot air balloon festival...lots of colorful balloons.

So why not try some red Lewis hose and a red Jacobite shirt with my Cameron Black and Red (House of Edgar/Kathy Lare) kilt.

Wore it to the balloon festival events this afternoon. Got one comment, "Love your kilt" from a teenage lady in a grunge look, and a question about where to buy Z Coil shoes from a lady about my age.

Fun outfit! Sometimes it pays off to be daring. I see you are pulling a cajunscot and forgoing the belt.

    Cheers

    Aye Jamie,

Don't wear a belt with my hand sewn kilts or my USA Kilt Semi-trads. More comfy that way. Buckle doesn't dig into my beer belly when I sit.

I think it also "shows" the kilt for what it is...that it can hang on its own without a belt.

Before seeing that ensemble, I never would have thought of trying it. But, I have all that.

    Ron, you are an inspiration.

    Great look!

My only suggestion on how to improve the outfit would be to wear the red and balck of the Cunningham tartan. What can I say I'm bias.

Riverkilt I like the look belt or no belt.

Great outfit I love the red hose and your Jacobite shirt. Very well put together.
