RKilts comes to Winnipeg
Robert Pel, the maker of RKilts, PM'd me that he was going to be in Winnipeg for a time, so we met up at a local pub for a couple pints. Here we are finishing off a pint of my favorite local brew, Fort Garry Dark Ale.

I'm wearing My Heritage of Ireland from The Kilted Nation, Thorfinn sporran and Ocannee belts, and Robert is in one of his black leather beauty RKilts.
It was great to meet up with him and I'm sure we'll get a chance to quaff a few more pints while he's in town.

Great pic!! I was in the 'Peg briefly today (not kilted) to get a set of antique plates for my Essex as well as check out the World of Wheels car show. I was hoping to stick around the city long enough to meet up with friends, but due to the weather warning we left after only a few hours. Good thing, too. The trip home was quite an adventure. The last 50 kms was done very very slowly, the highway was treacherous. Almost slid into the ditch a few times.
Hopefully I'll be able to make a return trip to the city before Robert heads home. I'd really like to get together with you guys.

So this is the real reason that Robert finished my kilt so quickly and I thought it was all my begging and pleading. \Be kind to him but not too kind SOKS needs him back...
